Google Slides App Reviews

I wish that some of the features worked on the phone, like the sharing features, so I would not need access to a computer to effectively use this app. Otherwise this is an excellent app.

I have a problem with Slides on Windows. It prompts me to reload every other minute and all my last modifications disappear. Annoying but when I realize how useful it has always been I rate it 4/5 stars

Sorry for the 1-star, but this app crashes within minutes on both my new iPhone and my iPad.

Whenever i type, it says in typin in white but i aint.

I love the convenience of being able to open and edit the slides on my phone that are saved to my Google Drive, including my Power Point slides. Very convenient!

This app is great to edit and create slides or presentations. Same goes with all the google apps.

I am in LOVE with this app. It has made life so much easier! For the background of my iPad i just used this app to put a bunch of pics together and then boom perfect wallpaper right there! I have also made many chat slides for the people who dont have email addresses.

(Slight exaggeration, but it really did save me a ton of work!) I am a DIE HARD Power Point user. Ive used Power Point for forever. I know it like the back of my hand. However when my computer died and I was reduced to making slides on my iPhone, Power Point was not there to help me! I tried several different slide apps before landing on Google Slides and I have to say this is by far the BEST app for making Slides from your phone!! By. Far. Its so simple and straightforward! Sharing slides with colleagues is super easy! So when my computer was back up and running I ended up getting the Google Slides app for my Mac as well!! I havent been back to Power Point since!! So now let me explain why I only gave 4 stars. When you insert an image to a slide (from the iPhone app) it gives the option of photos from your library or to take a picture (standard options). When you select that you want to insert an image from your library it automatically takes you to the "Memories" album on your iPhone (which is every photo in date order) and it starts with the very last photo taken. So if you want to select one that was taken a few weeks ago you have to scroll back through weeks of photos. The photos I use for my slides are all in a folder, but I cant access them here as it will only take me to the Memories album. Also, as you scroll back through your photos you have to be careful not to do this too fast as it will take you to the very FIRST photo and for me that was over five years ago!! So if the makers of the app would PLEASE fix it so that I can select the album I would like to retrieve my image from I would GREATLY appreciate it and will gladly change my rating from a 4 to a 5!

I want to state that on the computer slides is great but on mobile its not so great I can even chose a certain spot to start typing because of the highlighted blue box I have to use the magnifier to go to where I finished off at

A very handy app to use on things that have to be apart of a project or a powerpoint.

Great utilization from docs to slides

I found this app to be crucial in my never ending slew of assignments and presentations for classes. It is especially helpful for those who choose to carry an ipad around in lieu of the much heavier laptop. It is quick and easy to access documents. My only quip is that it is somewhat challenging to navigate for the more complex features versus the original desktop format.
